Thus, when Carol Vogel\u2019s article on the reinstallation of Tullio Lombardo\u2019s sculpture of \u201cAdam\u201d in the Metropolitan Museum after a twelve year study and conservation project (\u201cRecreating Adam, From Hundreds of Fragments, After the Fall\u201d) made the front page of The New York Times on Sunday November 9, 2014, conservation officially became \u201chot\u201d, dare we say \u201csexy\u201d.
