{"id":11850,"date":"2015-01-21T12:15:45","date_gmt":"2015-01-21T17:15:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.conservators-converse.org\/?p=11850"},"modified":"2015-01-21T12:15:45","modified_gmt":"2015-01-21T17:15:45","slug":"call-for-members-aic-sustainability-commitee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resources.culturalheritage.org\/conservators-converse\/2015\/01\/21\/call-for-members-aic-sustainability-commitee\/","title":{"rendered":"CALL FOR MEMBERS: AIC Sustainability Committee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The AIC Sustainability Committee<\/strong> <strong>Seeks a Professional Member <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Term:<\/strong> June 2015 \u2013 May 2017<br \/>\nThe Sustainability Committee is a dynamic group of conservation professionals with diverse specialties whose mission is to provide AIC members with resources on sustainability.\u00a0At the AIC annual meetings, we host sustainability-themed sessions where members share their experiences and tips, and have\u00a0a booth in the vendor hall where we share the committee\u2019s work and \u201cgreen\u201d conservation products with the attendees. Throughout the year, we keep the AIC Sustainable Practices Wiki up-to-date, and write on the AIC Blog and for the AIC News on research topics of interest.<br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>The committee aims to<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide resources for AIC members and other caretakers of cultural heritage regarding environmentally sustainable approaches to preventive care and other aspects of conservation practice.
