This is a one-year term position, with the potential to renew for another year. It is open to early-career conservators who are currently working in private practice and are members of CIPP. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>The liaison would join ECPN\u2019s growing Specialty Group Liaison program, and serve as a connection between Specialty Group leadership, ECPs in your specialty group, and the larger ECPN community.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Both ECPN and CIPP\u2019s charges and current leadership can be found on the AIC website <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/netforum.avectra.com\/eWeb\/DynamicPage.aspx?Site=AICHAW&amp;Webcode=LeadershipDetail&amp;cmt_key=0605c02a-5f70-4df0-99c0-e663f4109963&amp;ssoToken=596659425558393132774E30426A62365A77316158454F5443314E2F6E6B76396274495449314B4837755A546D38766765315A7578734434793839667A7030796262437A5766323157664864316B306138426C2F776E6363326451725835517A546372452B70683946546663584A424E46524C337A7830577577304F784F6B6746722F6136616C314F6A346263587233506B7362764A3859427755426756444C6546393957534E642F3973536F2B646C3577722B51536C67312B52684543596A4F784F55734D77727864733D\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.conservation-us.org\/specialty-topics\/conservators-in-private-practice#.WWk12ogrI2w\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">CIPP Duties and Goals:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Conference Calls with CIPP Officers (first Wednesday of the month)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Subscribe to CIPP Officer listserv<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Assist with developing CIPP programming targeted toward emerging conservators (such as Annual Meeting programs, webinars, resource guides, blog posts)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Participate\/co-author one CIPP article in AIC News<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Provide content for updating the CIPP website <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Produce a summary of activities for CIPP biannual report to AIC Board of Directors<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Funding may be available to offset the registration costs to attend the annual meeting<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ECPN Duties:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Conference Calls with ECPN Outreach Officers (1-2x\/year)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Conference Calls with ECPN Officers (1-4x\/year)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Disseminate information pertinent to the ECPN community (e.g. BigTent forums and<\/span>specialty group listserv)<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Make at least two short entries on BigTent updating the ECPN liaison community on\u00a0<\/span>upcoming or successful initiatives<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">When appropriate, advocate for ECPs in specialty group meetings and promote specialty<\/span>group initiatives to ECPs<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Assist with the AIC Wiki edit-a-thon on specialty group web pages in consultation with\u00a0<\/span>specialty group chair and ECPN<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Provide support to ECPN entries on the AIC blog<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Publicize ECPN webinars (two organized annually)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> If present at the annual AIC meeting, attend the specialty group business meeting and give\u00a0<\/span>the ECPN update presentation (talking points will be provided by ECPN Officers); promoting ECPN programming<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stay connected via Facebook and ECPN posts on the AIC Blog<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Brief Spring Report: a<\/span>\u00a0short summary of the work done by the specialty groups and how it affects the ECPN community and how this information was circulated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please send a CV and brief statement of interest to ECPN\u2019s Outreach Officers at ecpn.outreach@conservation-us.org by August 4, 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Emerging Conservation Professionals Network (ECPN) is seeking candidates for the position of liaison to the Conservators in Private Practice (CIPP) specialty group.
