\nfor their outstanding and distinguished contributions to the field.\u00a0AIC members nominate the candidates for each award and the\u00a0AIC Awards Committee selects the recipients.<\/p>\n

Which of your colleagues deserve recognition in the following\u00a0award categories?<\/p>\n

AIC Publications Award\u2014recognizes excellence in a\u00a0non-AIC Journal article or book on conservation published\u00a0during the preceding two years (October 1\u2013September 31).<\/p>\n

Robert Feller Lifetime Achievement Award\u2014recognizes\u00a0exceptional contributions to the conservation profession over the\u00a0course of one\u2019s career.<\/p>\n

Sheldon and Caroline Keck Award\u2014for excellence in the\u00a0education and training of conservation professionals.<\/p>\n

Rutherford John Gettens Merit Award\u2014for outstanding\u00a0service to the American Institute for Conservation (AIC).<\/p>\n

Conservation Advocacy Award (formerly the University\u00a0Products Award)\u2014for the accomplishments and contributions\u00a0for conservation professionals who, through substantial efforts in\u00a0outreach and advocacy, have advanced the field of conservation\u00a0and furthered the cause of conservation.<\/p>\n

Special Recognition for Allied Professionals\u2014in recognition\u00a0of the work and contributions by professionals in other\u00a0fields to the advancement of the conservation profession.\u00a0Distinguished Award for Advancement for the Field\u00a0of Conservation\u2014recognizes institutions for vital and longstanding\u00a0support of professional development activities of\u00a0conservators.<\/p>\n

Ross Merrill Award for Outstanding Commitment to\u00a0the Preservation and care of Collections, a joint AIC and\u00a0Heritage Preservation Award\u2014recognizing an organization large\u00a0or small whose commitment to conservation has been sustained\u00a0and exemplary.<\/p>\n
