Leaving aside the grating use of the word \u201cconservationist\u201d instead of \u201cconservator\u201d, this is a brief but well-researched(thanks to consultations with Francesca Bewer, Joyce Stoner, Sarah Staniforth, and Jerry Podany ) look at George Stout\u2019s life and work.
