The artwork is in the collection of the Intesa Sanpaolo Art Collections, located in the Gallerie d\u2019Italia, in Milan. <em>Collage<\/em>, a mixed media artwork comprised of carbon paper, crepe paper, sketch paper, Vinavil\u00ae, sand, bitumen, and alkyd-based ground on canvas, presents material complexities often associated with modern and contemporary art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work provided an interesting case study and investigation into the artist\u2019s peculiar technique. Lifting and delamination were addressed using new consolidation methods and technologies such as the IMAT prototype Intelligent Mobile Multipurpose Accurate Thermo- Electrical Mild Heating Device for Art Conservation, while paint loss compensation was performed by combining commonly used materials with an innovative approach. The treatment adhered to the principles of minimal intervention and featured materials that permit retreatability and easy identification by conservation professionals. Esta obra forma parte de la colecci\u00f3n de arte de Intesa Sanpaolo, ubicada en la Gallerie d\u2019Italia, en Mil\u00e1n. <em>Collage<\/em>, ha sido realizada con t\u00e9cnica mixta y se compone por papel carb\u00f3n (papel calco), papel crep\u00e9, papel de dibujo, Vinavil\u00ae, arena, bitumen (alquitr\u00e1n), y una preparaci\u00f3n a base de resina alqu\u00eddica sobre tela. La obra presenta algunas complejidades en cuanto a su materialidad, a menudo asociadas con el arte moderno y contempor\u00e1neo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este trabajo proporciona un interesante caso de estudio e investigaci\u00f3n en torno a la peculiar t\u00e9cnica del artista. Los levantamientos de los estratos y la delaminaci\u00f3n se han abordado usando nuevos m\u00e9todos de consolidaci\u00f3n y tecnolog\u00edas como el prototipo IMAT, Dispositivo Termoel\u00e9ctrico de Precisi\u00f3n Multiusos M\u00f3vil Inteligente para la Conservaci\u00f3n de Arte; mientras que la reintegraci\u00f3n de las p\u00e9rdidas de estratos pict\u00f3ricos se ha realizado combinando materiales usados habitualmente con un enfoque innovador. El tratamiento se adecu\u00f3 a los principios de la m\u00ednima intervenci\u00f3n y los materiales empleados permiten la retratabilidad y una f\u00e1cil identificaci\u00f3n por parte de los profesionales de la conservaci\u00f3n.
